Monkeyland
Live a unique adventure in the Dominican Republic with a guided tour of Monkeyland, with time to interact with our beautiful and playful squirrel monkeys, as well as a cultural tour of the Dominican lifestyle.
Monkeyland & Plantations
We begin this tour with a visit to a typical dominican house to socialize with Dominicans and learn to live off the land and its organic products. There you will have the opportunity to taste roasted coffee and cocoa.
We will continue with the second part of the tour, arriving at our beautiful botanical garden, where you will learn about plants and flowers native to the island.
The next 45 minutes will be spent on a guided tour, that allows you to interact up close with our beautiful and friendly squirrel monkeys at Monkeyland.
These charming and intelligent monkeys have been trained by a Canadian couple with 35 years of experience working with animals, including 12 years at the Toronto Zoo teaching the monkeys to trust and enjoy the company of humans.
This tour will take place on 5 acres of beautiful land that the monkeys have made their home.
The monkeys are completely accustomed to human contact, they come down from the trees to sit on your shoulder and eat from your hands. Be careful …. They love all things bright and interesting!
Little ones love to pose for cameras and will probably sit and, if allowed, see themselves on your camera.
Adorable! Come share an unforgettable experience!

Monkeyland & Zip Line
We will begin the tour at the first Zip Line facility in Punta Cana, built by one of the most experienced Zip Lines circuit builders in Costa Rica and certified by the ACCT.
At the Welcome Center, our expert canopy guides will teach you everything you need to know about the course and equipment in a safety briefing.
We will then head to the first platform and you will be safely attached with climbing equipment to the double line cables. After this, you will be ready to start “flying” from one platform to another.
This activity consists of 18 platforms and 12 Zip Lines, the longest being 800 meters long!
In fact, this adventure includes the 2 longest lines in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean that extend along the mountain range for 2 kilometers.
Start the second part of the tour: arriving at the Coconut House, where you will learn about the coconut oil making process, learn about the way of life of the people in the countryside and taste the most delicious locally produced coffee and coconut.
You will also have the opportunity to enjoy some slices of exotic fruits and get souvenirs at unbeatable prices.
You will then visit Monkeyland, a beautiful 5 acre park that is home to two groups of charming and intelligent squirrel monkeys. Here you will interact for 45 minuts very close to these adorable and friendly monkeys. They are completely accustomed to human contact and have been trained by a Canadian couple with 35 years of experience working with animals, including 12 years at the Toronto Zoo teaching the monkeys to trust and enjoy the company of humans.
Get ready to see them come down from the trees to sit on your shoulder, eat out of your hands, pose for cameras, and even jump on your head! As the tour nears its end, we will invite you to our Ranch, where you will have the best views of the mountains.
